Forciot is a Finnish start-up company established in December 2015. The company is Headquartered in Tampere and it develops advanced IoT sensor solutions. Forciot’s unique stretchable electronics solution measures and reports accurately force, weight, balance and pressure. The innovative printed electronics solution can be utilized also as an HMI touch controller responding to gesture or to replace buttons in elastic environments when integrated as an example into car interiors. Due to the advanced reading algorithms and related machine learning elements, the Forciot system self-calibrates to assure accurate measurements and functionality during the lifecycle of the product. Forciot’s key business areas are automotive, logistics and wearable sectors.

 

Dispelix is a designer and fabless manufacturer of mass-manufacturable diffractive waveguide displays and display modules for use in augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR) eyewear and headsets. Dispelix designs, sells, and supplies Dispelix-branded waveguide displays to product owners and their suppliers. Dispelix also designs customized waveguide displays and licenses intellectual property to customers that develop game-changing products for fast-evolving AR eyewear markets.

 

Emberion Oy is a Finnish deep tech company providing game changing solutions for professional imaging and detection. We are targeting to disrupt the markets of machine vision, industrial quality inspection, spectrometers and even automotive and medical applications with our broad wavelength range image sensors that provide superior performance and are cost efficient to manufacture. We are the first company to provide affordable high-quality image sensors and camera cores for cameras that capture the short-wave infrared band (SWIR). This is possible thanks to our patented technology that combines nanomaterial light absorbers and graphene transducers with industry-standard silicon circuits solely based on Emberion’s own design.

 

Canatu’s solutions bring design freedom and user experience to the next level for 3D shaped touch devices and enable autonomous driving in any weather. Canatu develops and manufactures innovative 3D formable and stretchable films and sensors for touch and heater solutions. These transparent and conductive films can be integrated into plastic, glass, textile or leather enabling 3D touch displays, smart switches and other intuitive user interfaces as well as 3D shaped heater solutions. The conductive films of Canatu are manufactured with a patented method using equipment developed by Canatu.

 

Elastopoli Oy is a technology development company for plastic and rubber industry founded 2002. Elastopoli has developed and patented a unique wet mixing technology that enables cellulose fibre reinforced composite manufacturing directly from never dried cellulose as well as micro fibrillated cellulose and nanocellulose. First integrated production unit is now running at pulp mill in Rauma, Finland.  The technology improves the mechanical properties and has excellent processability with existing processing equipment. The technology enables light weight solutions and considerable savings in process times. Other unique features are wood like acoustic and tactile properties.

 

Comptek solutions is a technology provider for the compound semiconductor industry. Our disruptive and patented technology, Kontrox™, solves one of the key issues in this industry: “oxidation and defect generation”.  Our technology is based on advanced semiconductor material engineering know-how and for the first time it reduces surface defects by 2 orders of magnitude resulting in a boost of the performance and reliability for devices such as lasers, µLEDs, sensors, RF or power conversion modules.

We offer full technology solutions to the compound semiconductor device supply chain to create more competitive devices and to enable higher manufacturing yields.

 

We are studying 3D-Printing of Ceramic Materials for extreme demanding applications at the Tampere University. Previously manufacturing methods for the ceramic materials have been expensive, time consuming and limited only to the simple geometries. 3D-Printing is new manufacturing method which can produce extremely complicated geometries and unforeseen details. We are planing to create business out of our research and we are searching for industrial partner for commercializing this research.
