R&D Technician

Canatu is seeking a

R&D technician

for temporary role until end of 2019


Main responsibilities

  • Maintain and configure reactors and other equipment

Other responsibilities

  • Produce, measure/characterize samples with R&D reactors, printers and other equipment
  • Produce accurate and reliable data
  • Document and report activities and data
  • Carry out other tasks given by R&D engineers and other R&D staff


  • Mechanical skills
  • Ability to work in three shifts occasionally
  • Capable of working independently based on given objectives
  • Accuracy and close attention to detail
  • Versatile, adaptable and rigorous
  • Teamwork skills
  • Proven working experience in R&D is considered advantageous
  • Experience with thin film & thin film deposition systems, chemical reactors, gas distribution systems, optical and electrical measurements are considered advantageous
  • English working proficiency required
