Nordic Deep Tech Business Summit
In collaboration with Aalto University, VTT Research Centre and City of Espoo, ArcticStartup launched Nordic Deep Tech Business Summit (NORDEEP) to connect the research teams and deep tech startups to funding, talent, expertise and clients. The first NORDEEP Summit will bring together over 400 scientists, entrepreneurs, investors and corporate representatives on October 11-12th 2022 at the heart of Aalto campus in Otaniemi, Finland. Canatu CEO Juha Kokkonen will join the panel on “Enabling Future Business Opportunities” on October 12, 2022 to share his experiences in scaling the next breakthrough material, the Canatu CNT. Join the session to learn how Canatu is transforming products for better tomorrows with nano carbon!
“Humanity is facing many big challenges, be it a global pandemic, food shortages, energy crisis or climate change. We need solutions, big solutions. These solutions typically originate from the heavy investments into science and research, in which Nordics excels on a global level. The challenge we face is that of how we get those new innovations out to the market faster, as we don’t want important discoveries getting stuck on shelves of research centres. We need more deep tech startups to be born and supported on their growth path to success, to change the world”, says Jan Ameri, Executive Chairman at ArcticStartup.
NORDEEP Nordic Deep Tech Business Summit is Northern Europe’s first and only deep tech conference with a business focus. In addition to highly customized stage program, there will also be various workshops and special coaching sessions with experts on key topics related to bringing deep tech solutions to markets. Research teams and deep tech startups get a great opportunity to meet with investors, future co-founders and employees, and also potential clients. For the investors and corporations participating, it is a great way to scout fast new investment and partnership opportunities, and to keep up with what’s happening in the top research world.
The 2-day event brings together a focused international crowd of startups, research teams, research institutions, investors, corporations, media and influencers. Tracks are focused on various industries, technologies and topics ranging from Quantum computing and AI to New Funding Instruments and Scaling. The event is organized by ArcticStartup, a startup media covering Nordics and Baltics since 2007.
